Creative Writing graduate student Brittany Cavallaro reads from her award-winning book of poems: Girl-King, on Thursday, February 19, 7 p.m. at Boswell Book Company. Her poems have recently appeared in AGNI, Poetry Northwest, Tin House, and the Best New Poets anthology.

Cavallaro is the recipient of scholarships from the Bread Loaf Writers Conference, a Rona Jaffe Fellowship from the Vermont Studio Center, and a fellowship from the National Foundation for the Arts.
