UWM Visiting Writer Series: Beau Boudreaux

We are thrilled to welcome back UWM alumni Beau Boudreaux as part of our UWM Visiting Writer Series! Please join us Thursday, October 12 at the Hefter Center for an evening of readings and reflections.

Beau Boudreaux’s second book-length collection of poems, Rapunzel’s Braid, was published in 2016 by Five Oaks Press. His first book of poems, Running Red, Running Redder was published by Cherry Grove Collections in 2012. He is also the author of Significant Other, which won the New Dawn Unlimited chapbook award.

Beau received a Ph.D. degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2002, his M.A. from the Center for Writers at the University of Southern Mississippi in 1996, and his B.A. in English from the University of Southern California.

Beau has published poetry widely in journals including Antioch ReviewCream City Review, and Louisiana Literature, also appearing in The Southern Poetry Anthology.  He teaches at Tulane University and lives in New Orleans.
