Author Catherine Pierce, Reading and Craft Talk, 7 PM, Thursday, April 15, 2021

Catherine Pierce is the author of four books of poetry. Her most recent book, Danger Days, was published in 2020 by Saturnalia Press. Her previous books, The Tornado is the World, The Girls of Peculiar, and Famous Last Words, were also published by Saturnalia Press.

Her work has appeared in The Best American Poetry, the New York Times, American Poetry Review, The Nation, the Academy of American Poets’ Poem-a-Day series, and elsewhere. A 2019 National Endowment for the Arts Fellow and two-time Pushcart Prize winner, she is a professor of English at Mississippi State University, where she co-directs the creative writing program.
