In the first Proseminar presentation of the semester, Art History Graduate Student Michael Lahti spoke on an object from the UWM Art Collection. Lahti examined Diego Rivera’s drawing “Girl Lighting Candle.” Students are asked to conduct independent research on an object related to weekly course readings, and present on their findings to the class. This data will be used by UWMAC staff to add to the object files and strengthen collection research. Stay tuned for more updates on these presentations throughout the semester!
