We do not charge admission.

Mathis Gallery exhibitions are free and open to all.

Touching the art is not allowed.

There may at times be opportunities to physically interact with objects in the Gallery. In those cases, there will be clear signage.

Food and drink are not permitted in the Gallery.

There are cubbies near the entrance desk where you can store these items. The area is always monitored by a Gallery Attendant.

Large or bulky items like backpacks, suitcases, and umbrellas are not permitted in the Gallery.

Still photography is permitted for private, noncommercial use only. Photography of works on loan and in special exhibitions is not permitted. Flash photography, tripods, and video are prohibited.

Advance notice by email is required for all media, commercial, or video/film requests. Be sure to include your contact information and the nature of your project.

We do our best to accommodate these kinds of requests, but it depends on the availability of the Mathis staff. To schedule a research, class, or community visit, please fill out the appropriate form. For anything else, please email mathisartgallery@uwm.edu.
