In an emergency, please call the UWM Police Department at 911 on a UWM Teams account or 414-229-9911 on a cell phone or off-campus phone. 911 may be used from off-campus locations or from your cell phone to reach City of Milwaukee police, fire and ambulance services.

UWM Police

Learn how to connect with the UWM Police Department, which has dozens of officers who provide around-the-clock police service, safety and security to the campus community. Download the RAVE Guardian app to receive emergency alerts and to text directly with the UWMPD. 

Safe Ride Service

Be On the Safe Side (B.O.S.S.) is a safe ride service available for free to UWM students, operating every day between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. during the traditional academic calendar.

A team is here to provide treatment if you are injured or in distress and to assist you in learning to make healthy choices each day. 

Sexual Harassment and Violence

UWM is committed to a campus free of all forms of discrimination, including sexual violence and harassment. Survivors can receive services regardless of whether they file a formal report.

Get help in reporting concerns, resolving problems and connecting with campus resources for financial, laptop and food assistance.

Annual Safety Report
