Garden
This week’s care package is themed Garden, based on the exhibition Garden from Korea’s National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.

Much of her work deals with themes of nature and feminism. Here is a wonderful excerpt from her bio: “Instead of talking big for fear of losing her status in the art world as she gets older, Yun acts on the ethics of care with her life and works. That is why she is still beautiful at nearly 70 years of age.”
While you are looking through the exhibition and Yun’s website, listen to Mort Garson’s 1976 synthy and lovable cult-classic LP Mother Earth’s Plantasia. As the cover art puts it, “Warm earth music for plants… And the people who love them.”
