Wendy Huddleston

Wendy Huddleston, PT, PhD, Associate Professor, is the Director of both the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and the Visuomotor Lab at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. In her research, she uses functional magnetic resonance imaging and psychophysical testing to address questions regarding brain activity involved in attentional selection of sensory and motor information necessary for task completion, and how changes in brain activity might affect performance from eye movements to leg injuries in a variety of populations. Dr. Huddleston received her Bachelor’s Degree in physical therapy from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and earned her Master’s Degree in Motor Control at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She completed her doctoral work at the Medical College of Wisconsin in cognitive neuroscience, and then went on to the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics for her postdoctoral work in Tuebingen, Germany.
