Terryl Wheelock

Terryl began her work in the field of Early Care and Education in 1987. She has experience as a lead teacher with children ages 3-12 years old. Terryl became a mentor teacher for the Milwaukee Metropolitan Mentor Teacher Program in 1997. In 2000 Terryl became an employee of 4C-for Children as the coordinator of the Mentor Teacher Program. Since then Terryl has continued to work with a variety of quality improvement programs and initiatives while at 4C. This includes developing and leading entry-level classes and continuing education workshops, providing on-site technical assistance, coordinating and developing professional development options, and coordinating the implementation of YoungStar within the 4C service delivery area. Terryl continues her work in advancing quality in early care settings in her current role as project coordinator at 4C-For Children. Terryl is recognized as a master trainer and technical consultant with The Registry®, Wisconsin’s Recognition System for the Childhood Care and Education Profession.
