Sarah Urban

Sarah is a CPA who started her career at Ernst & Young in Milwaukee. From Ernst & Young, she went to Morris Material Handling and then to Brady Corporation, where she worked for 13 years. At both companies she worked her way up through various finance and accounting roles with increasing levels of responsibility. While at Brady, Sarah was one of the “founding four” members of the Women’s Leadership Group, an affinity group started to help women in the organization reach their full potential. Before leaving Brady, Sarah branched out from the finance function to hold roles in data and analytics and leading marketing and strategy for her business unit. Sarah went to Charter Steel in 2015 as the vice president in finance and transitioned to leading the IT organization for Charter Manufacturing in 2017. More recently, she added digital to her role as the vice president of digital technology. Sarah received her undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She resides in Germantown, WI, with her husband and three children. Her oldest daughter attends the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, and her son is enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
