Mitzi Short, MBA, ACC
Mitzi Short is the CEO and co-founder of New Season Coaching & Consulting Group, a boutique coaching and consulting firm, and an adjunct executive coach with the Center for Creative Leadership and for the University of Oregon’s Executive MBA Program. She serves as a trusted advisor to many leaders and is passionate about enabling individuals to achieve optimal performance and sustainable growth, while living rewarding lives. Mitzi uses her senior leadership experience and facilitation expertise to elevate how individuals and teams approach innovation, collaboration and strategic planning – encouraging out-of-the box thinking and beyond-comfort-zone experiences to produce improved results. Having served on the advisory board for a global franchise company and as owner of several franchise locations, Mitzi provides additional insight and deeper perspective for those working in growth companies and/or entrepreneurial businesses. Clients can expect to engage in bold and courageous conversations that are results-focused, empowering, challenging, positive and fun.
During a span of 25-plus years with Fortune 50 companies PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble, Mitzi expanded the reach and impact of several iconic and beloved brands including Pepsi, Mountain Dew Crest and Scope. Multiple geographic moves throughout her career provided Mitzi with the opportunity to work in a variety of marketplaces and with a diverse group of regional, national and global customers. She held leadership positions in sales and sales operations, business development, customer management, franchise business operations, general and multi-cultural marketing, and agency management including reporting to the CEO.
Mitzi received her BA in economics from Davidson College and an MBA from the University of Oregon. She is certified by the International Coaches Federation and earned her coaching credentials from The Center for Creative Leadership, The Coaching & Positive Psychology Institute, and the Basadur Center for Applied Creativity.
Mitzi is a Fund for Education Abroad board member and former member of the Davidson College trustee board where she chaired the public relations committee. Mitzi co-authored “Teeing Up for Success” and is a big sports fan who enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
