Matt Blessing

Matt Blessing has served as the State Archivist and Director of the Collections Division at the Wisconsin Historical Society since 2012. In addition to John Muir, he has written about the journal of Charles Floyd (a member of the Lewis and Clark expedition), Aldo Leopold, and the Matanuska Valley Colony – the New Deal resettlement project that transplanted northern Wisconsin farmers to Alaska.
