Mary Ann Horky

Mary Ann Horky’s first knitting experience was as a teen when she began to knit a blanket made of many garter stitch squares. A bag of over 50 squares followed her many moves over the next 10 years. In her 20s she started taking knitting classes and since then has knit socks, scarves and about 10 sweaters. Her recent passion has been stranded color work. During her legal career she would sometimes knit while waiting to go into court, inspiring a colleague to mention Madame Defarge. Luckily, her clients did not suffer the same fate as the French aristocracy.
