Mark Flower

A veteran from the Cold War era, Mark Flower served in the Army from 1976 to 2006. He struggled with alcoholism and drugs and started his journey in recovery in September of 1993. Since that date, he has been substance free and has helped others on their journey in recovery by managing halfway houses including the Manitoba House and Sal’s House Transitional Living Facility, and managing the Alano Foundation, a recovery organization. Currently working with Dryhootch of America, Mark is a co-founder and director of Community Programs and Peer Coordinator and the Veterans Health Coalition.
