Joan Schneider

Joan moved to Milwaukee due to employment as a sign language interpreter. She later worked as a vocational rehabilitation counselor and since 2009 is the Executive Director at the Center for Deaf-Blind Persons. She has had the honors of working with amazing individuals as they adapt to their loss of vision and hearing. She will share information about hearing and vision loss as well as strategies to consider while caring for grandchildren.
