Fran Kaplan

Fran Kaplan, EdD, MSW is Co-Founder of Nurturing Diversity Partners, a consulting firm fostering diversity, inclusion, and equity within institutions and communities. Kaplan has spent 55 years working for social justice. She has served as an educator, social worker, community organizer, and administrator in farmworker rights, womens’ healthcare, child protection, parenting education, and public history. Her volunteer work helped re-establish America’s Black Holocaust Museum. Kaplan has received 12 awards for social justice work and many others for writing and filmmaking.
