Erica Zitzke

Erica has been teaching in Milwaukee Public Schools for 20 years. She has taught many different subjects, but she most enjoys teaching writing and drawing. Besides teaching English Language Arts, Erica has also worked as a curriculum writer and a literacy coach for other teachers in MPS. Passionate about collaborating with other educators and artists, Erica has presented at the Wisconsin State Reading Conference and Arts Hub MKE Summer Conference. Prior to teaching, she graduated with a degree in architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and worked for a design firm in San Francisco.
