Elmo Roach

Elmo Roach is a U.S.M.C. Veteran. He received a BA from the University of Dayton in 1963. He was awarded a PhD in history in 1968 from Ohio State University. His academic career spanned 35 years at Bradley University in Peoria, IL. He served as a professor of history and director of international programs. He was also a consultant for Caterpillar Inc. in their joint venture efforts in Russia and Siberia. In 1994 he was inducted as a Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Moscow, Section on Geopolitics. Since retirement in 2005, his study and field work has focused upon Mayan civilization. He is a summer resident of Pelican Lake, WI.
