Drew Formentini

Since graduating from the University of Dayton with his undergraduate and master’s degrees, Drew Formentini has held management positions in international sport, technology operations and education. He is currently the Director of Strategy and Operations at Infinity Sports focusing on the strategic development and execution of international sporting events. Previously, Drew worked for Major League Baseball and the World Baseball Classic planning and organizing international baseball events in Panama, Puerto Rico, Japan and Taiwan. In technology, Drew led operational teams at Lyft and Nauto focusing on the development of mobility services, safety and process improvements for both organizations. Prior to his work in technology, Drew support the turnaround of two Bronx based charter schools as an operations director. He currently is an adjunct professor at the University of Dayton in the Health and Sport Science department. Drew and his wife Lauren relocated to Milwaukee from New York City in 2020 and shortly thereafter, welcomed their son Pau and moved to Bay View. Drew has joined the board of the Bay View Historical Society and is very excited to support the Osher program at UWM.
