Donna Engelmann, Ph.D.

Donna Engelmann is recently retired from the philosophy department at Alverno College, where she taught ethics, political philosophy and introduction to philosophy for 28 years. She earned her PhD in political philosophy and a graduate certificate in alternative dispute resolution from Marquette University. She specializes in political and social philosophy, ethics, theories of knowledge, peace studies and feminist philosophy. Her interests in addition to philosophy are reading constantly, enjoying art and music, spending time in nature and surrounding herself with family and friends.
