Diane Munzenmaier

Diane Munzenmaier is a trained physiologist, researcher and educator. She spent her early career at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where her research focused on understanding the chemical and physical controllers of angiogenesis (new blood vessel growth) in health and disease. Recently, she moved to the Milwaukee School of Engineering as Program Director at the Center for Biomolecular Modeling, where she developed hands-on models and materials to teach the molecular biosciences and provided professional development for science educators. She and her husband are now happily retired with two children and three grandchildren.
