Deb Jenks, PhD

Dr. Jenks is a professor in the School of Nursing at Milwaukee School of Engineering. She is in her fifth year of beekeeping with 15 hives in her backyard and others scattered around the area with friends. After a year of research and investigating, Deb chose beekeeping over raising chickens and has become extremely passionate about her new adventure. Her garden continues to overtake the backyard, as she learns more about the relationship between plants, insects and food.
