Crystal Flenorl

Crystal Flenorl is the director of community diversity engagement for Advocate Aurora Health In this role, she leads Aurora’s diverse community engagement strategy, builds proper alignment with Aurora’s community partners and consumers and manages sponsorships to assist in accomplishing Aurora’s diversity and inclusion goals for Wisconsin and Illinois.

Prior to joining Aurora, Crystal was the development manager for City Year Milwaukee and started her career in corporate marketing and merchandising for two Fortune 500 companies. She is a co-founder of young professionals’ group, Social X Milwaukee. Crystal’s community involvement includes: member, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; advisory board member of Visit Milwaukee; member and charitable fund board member of Professional Dimensions; and board member for Ronald Raegan High School, HOAN Milwaukee and Tempo Milwaukee Emerging Women Leaders.

Her past community participation includes Future Milwaukee Leadership Program at Marquette University, Center for Progressive Leadership program and past adult advisor for the YMCA Teen Achievers program.

Crystal was recognized as Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2016 40-under-40 class and Madison 365 “44 Most Influential African Americans in Wisconsin.”

Crystal holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and a master’s degree from Marquette University. Crystal recently completed Cardinal Stritch University’s African American Leadership Program.

She is a proud newlywed to husband, Diante Flenorl.
