Bhagwant Sindhu, PhD, OTR/L

Dr. Bhagwant S. Sindhu, PhD, OTR/L, is an Associate Professor in the Occupational Therapy, Science and Technology Programs at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). He has also served as Director of UWM’s Occupational Therapy Program. He is nationally and internationally recognized for his research focused on pursuing theoretically rigorous exploration of approaches for improving rehabilitation of upper limb musculoskeletal disorders in three related areas: rehabilitation assessments, rehabilitation outcomes and nonpharmacological management of pain, stress and sleep. Bhagwant has two decades of experience educating engineers, hand therapists, occupational therapists, occupational therapy students and other health profession students. He is passionate about teaching anatomy, biomechanics and neuroscience, and he is frequently invited to lecture on the brachial plexus.
