Barbara Kohlmetz

Kohlmetz grew up in Green Bay and went to college at UW-Whitewater. She was a special needs and 1st grade teacher for 34 years. Kohlmetz met her husband while teaching in DeForest. Both of them liked to travel, and one of their journeys was to the Panama Canal with a stop in Costa Rica. That’s where her current story begins.
