Anita Pietrykowski

Anita Pietrykowski, a volunteer historical educator and guide at Forest Home Cemetery, has researched the stories and lives of many women who are buried at the cemetery. She offers three unique tours there that focus on the accomplishments of Milwaukee’s women from the time of the founding of the city to modern day. In addition, the tours also give visitors a look into Milwaukee’s history while enjoying a beautiful, garden cemetery. Now retired, Anita worked as a teacher, principal and administrator for Milwaukee Public Schools.
