Amy Terry

Amy Terry serves as assistant director of the Field Experience Center of Excellence at Northwestern Mutual, where she has spent the last 15 years. She has held a variety of leadership roles for multiple teams as well as individual contributors.

Amy holds a business degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and built a grassroots effort to deliver the art of a successful client conservation experience. She has played an instrumental role in integration efforts to drive the value of the product and the trusted relationship clients have with their advisors.

Amy’s experience as a self-driven leader focuses on successful outcomes, problem-solving and creating strategic alliances with organization leaders to effectively deliver key business initiatives while partnering cross-functionally in the home office and with the field. She works to strengthen field acumen, drive enterprise alignment around the intended field experience and ensure the delivery of an exceptional experience to advisors.

Amy is the chair of Professional Development for the Women’s ERG, as well as the lead for the incredibly successful WERG mentoring program.

From a personal perspective, Amy is a mother of two young men. Luis, 22 years old and in the home stretch of finishing his degree at UW-Milwaukee this year, and Edward, who just graduated high school and is navigating his next steps.
