Alan Price, Pd.D.

Professor Price hails from Lubbock, Texas. He received his BS and MS in geology from Texas Tech and a Ph.D. in geography at UCLA. Aside from a stint as a programmer, he taught at Texas Tech, UCLA, Santa Monica College, Parkside, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, Waukesha and Washington County. From 2010 through 2015, he was Dean. His research interests are pedagogy, flooding and dam removal, but he’s enthralled by earthquakes, droughts, climate change, blowing dust and storms.
