Punita Miller

Punita Miller is a commercial engineering manager at Rockwell Automation with a background in power control technology and intelligent devices as well as technical strategy and marketing. She has over 15 years of experience in the industrial automation space. She has led diverse teams across ethnicities, gender and generations. Additionally, Punita is the UWM Campus Manager at Rockwell Automation and leads the collaboration committee. She helps foster a close collaboration with the university in various aspects, including increasing engagement, career fairs, promoting the Connected Systems Institute (CSI) and sharing industrial trends and insights that support creating a solid talent pipeline for the community.

Punita was born in Uganda, raised in India, studied in Japan, worked in Singapore, traveled to over 30 countries and has lived in the United States for over 20 years which has given her a valuable range of experiences and opportunities. Punita’s global perspective has enabled her to become passionate about the success of women in the workplace, especially in the field of STEM.

Punita graduated with Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and International Business from Marquette University. After working at a non-profit organization focusing on international cooperation and immigration, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
