University Community String Orchestra

New Ensemble! Come and join the inaugural season of the University Community String Orchestra.
Only open to string players (violin, viola, cello or bass) who can read music and enjoy plying a wide variety of string repertoire.
This NEW ensemble welcomes string players of all levels, including advanced beginners (age 12+) and skilled amateurs, to rehearse and perform together on Monday nights.
The Orchestra is under the direction of Music Director Margery Deutsch, UWM Professor Emerita, and Associate Conductor Kari Kraenzler.

Instrument selection required at time of registration. You must be registered prior to the start of rehearsals. No walk-ins allowed. Participation will be available on a first come-first served basis. Once slots are filled, you will be placed on a waiting list.

Folder pickup is January 29. First rehearsal is February 5.

Concert Date is Sunday, April 28 2024 at 7:30 p.m.

Rehearsals are held in the UWM Music Building, 2400 Kenwood Blvd, room 180. Members will need to provide their own music stands.
