University Community Orchestra
The University Community Orchestra invites advanced beginners or skilled amateurs (ages 12 and older) to rehearse and perform together. It is open to anyone who can read music and enjoys playing classical symphonic and pops repertoire.
Players are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated prior to sign-up.
The Orchestra is under the direction of Margery Deutsch, UWM Professor Emeritus, and her conducting staff. Please contact Margery at mdeutsch@uwm.edu with any questions.
Instrument selection required at time of registration. You must be registered prior to the start of rehearsals. No walk-ins allowed. Participation will be available on a first come-first served basis. Once slots are filled, you will be placed on a waiting list.
Folder pickup is Jan 24 and Jan 31 2024 from 7pm – 8pm. Please NOTE: Bring your instrument to the first rehearsal on Feb 7.
Rehearsals are held at the Zelazo Center, Room 280. The Zelazo Center is located at 2419 E. Kenwood Blvd. Program Fee is $109.
Registration opens on Tuesday, December 5.
