Trading Card Games

Gr. 6-12 & 3-5

Trading Card games such as Pokémon and Magic the Gathering are hugely popular due to the strategy, artwork and collectability. Students in this class will be given the opportunity to learn how to play and collect these cards. Students will learn how to follow standard rules for all games played and will work with others in the class and the instructor to learn strategies and how to care for cards. Note: Students will be encouraged to bring their personal cards to this class to participate at a higher level. The students, not UWM College for Kids & Teens, will be responsible for their own cards. Trading cards might be part of the class experience but is not an expectation of the class. Any trades will be evaluated with the help of the instructor and a trading card app. If you wish to not have your student trade, please contact our office at cfkids@uwm.edu prior to the first class.
