The History of the Middle East
Join us as we review the history of the Middle East with Lloyd Levin. How did we get to where we are today? Whose land is it? Who controlled the area from before WWI through the Ottoman Empire? What decisions were made by Great Britain and France? What happened after WWII, and what was the involvement of the League of Nations (United Nations)? We will review armed conflicts and peace proposals. Post October 7, 2023, what might the future look like?
