Osher 2024 London Theatre Tour
Join Osher for a special theatre trip in London this May 1 – 7, 2024.
On May 1st, our group of 38 will fly direct from Chicago to London on a daytime flight that arrives the same evening. This package includes 6-nights at a 4-star hotel in Trafalgar Square within walking distance to the West End Theatres.
We will see five shows together and have an optional group tour each day. The shows and tours cannot be finalized until spring, but we are looking at shows like Les Miserables at Sondheim Theatre, the longest running musical in the West End, Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap at St. Martin’s Theatre, Tina – The Tina Turner Musical at London Theatre, London Tide at Lyttelton Theatre, and a show at the candlelit Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. We are working on walking tours like an inside look at the best of Covent Garden, an Abbey Road/Beatlemania tour, an Old Westminster/Big Ben highlights tour, and a behind-the-scenes look at Shakespeare’s Globe.
Meals will include a welcome breakfast, a real English tea and two dinners. The trip also includes ground transportation between Milwaukee and O’Hare and between Heathrow Airport and the hotel, as well as a visitor card for London public transit as needed to navigate to various activities.

Activity level: Participants will need to be able to handle their own baggage. For walking through airports, walking to shows, and participating in tours, participants should be comfortable walking 2-4 miles in a day, depending on which activities they choose. You will encounter some uneven surfaces, stairs, steps and significant slopes. Cobblestone paths and brick streets are common. Please speak with staff before registering if you have questions.
Limit of 38 members.
Price: $3,250 double occupancy, $3,950 single occupancy.
Please note that a $1000 deposit for this trip is due at registration. The balance is due February 1, 2024. The deposit, minus any replacement/change fees from the airline or hotel, is refundable if a replacement traveler is found who can go in your place. You may wish to take out additional travel insurance on your own to cover the unexpected.
