Explore Villa Terrace

Villa Terrace was the home of Lloyd Smith, of A.O. Smith, and his wife Agnes. It was designed by renowned architect David Adler in the style of an Italian Renaissance villa, and sits on a bluff above Lake Michigan. In 1966, the house and grounds were donated to Milwaukee County as a museum, the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum, and is currently on the National Register of Historic Places. This one-hour guided tour will include the building, the collections, including the wrought-iron work of Cyril Colnik, and a view of the gardens. Handicap accessible.
