Embroidery
Gr. 3-5, 6-8 & 9-12
Have you ever wanted to add your own personal flair to your wardrobe? Want to learn to mend and make your own accessories and staples? Learn the basics of hand sewing and embroidery to create colorful and detailed imagery or even create your own wearable art without the expense and headache of a sewing machine. This course aims to teach the basics such as sewing buttons or fixing a hem, as well as more advanced techniques like creating your own embroidered pillow or doll. This class is for beginners with an interest in fabric and fiber arts.
