Community Psychology
Gr. 6-12
Community psychology is the study of a person’s environment, interactions and the ways society affects individual and community functioning which is referred to as a “lens.” Participants will learn to recognize assets and areas of growth within the Milwaukee community. Compare and contrast the Milwaukee community to the communities of popular artists around the world. Learn how the community shapes artists influence in the world. Each student will create an art piece using their personal lens examining how their influence impacts the Milwaukee community.
