Don’t be a pawn in someone else’s game of chess. Come learn about this popular board game that dates back to the 15th century. Learn the game pieces, from the king, queen, bishop, knight, rook to the pawn. Practice the basic maneuvers that must follow individual rules of movement with the objective of checkmating the opposing king. Please bring your own chess set to class if you have one. This class is intended for beginners only and is meant as an instructional class to learn the basics of chess.
