Celtic, Norse, Slavic and Arthurian Myth

In this social science course, examine ideas about the divine and the human in the ancient religious stories from the United Kingdom, Central Europe and Scandinavia.

Address the interaction of the three cultures and investigate their beliefs in creation, the divinities and heroes. You will also examine the stories of the 20th century that were inspired by these myths, from Tolkien to Lewis.
