Build the Change with TEK & LEGO®

Gr. 3-5

Our planet is asking for a conversation about our climate extremes and a warming world. How will we respond? This class will focus on teaching students the foundations of Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) of Native American people in Milwaukee. Students will also be talking through ideas like building sustainability, countering climate change, our human impacts on the world and ecological justice. Essential to our program is using LEGOS® to bring to life the students’ ideas about ecological change.
