Visiting Assistant Professor Matt Rarey is getting ready for the Fall 2014 semester by organizing a mini show in the UWM Art History Teaching Gallery located in Mitchell Hall 170 with the help of Director Linda Brazeau and Curator Christa Story. It features objects from the Emilie H. Mathis II African Collection, the Mary Jo and Mark Wentzel Collection of African Art, and the Gene and Inez Gilbert Collection of African and Oceanic Art. His fall classes are ARTHIST 104: African, New World and Oceanic Art and Architecture and ARTHIST 371: African Art. The gallery will be open this fall Monday – Thursday 10 AM – 3 PM.
