Associate Professor Tanya Tiffany invited guest artist and UWM Peck School of the Arts Graduate Student, Nancy McManus-Subel to her ArtHist 102: Renaissance to Modern Art and Architecture class this summer in Mitchell Hall 158. McManus-Subel showed the students some of the paintings she was working on and gave a demonstration on oil painting including the steps of the initial drawing on canvas, the underpainting in grey tones, and the color on top of that. The students also had a chance to participate and work in oil paints.
