Father Angelo Artemas of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (Wauwatosa) gave a talk in the UWM Art History Gallery on Tuesday, March 3, 2015.  Father Artemas was invited to speak in conjunction with graduate student Laura Sims’ thesis exhibition Reflections on a Collection: Revisitng UWM Icons Fifty Years Later, an exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the icons at UWM. Fifty years ago, Father Emanuel Vergis, also from the Annunciation Church, spoke at the opening reception of the exhibition of the UWM icons.
