Sergio González, author of “Mexicans in Wisconsin” (Wisconsin Historical Society Press) and “Strangers No Longer: Latino Belonging and Faith in Twentieth-Century Wisconsin” (University of Illinois Press), explores the enduring stories and challenges of Latino communities in Wisconsin. From farmworkers pivotal in Wisconsin’s agricultural growth to civil rights-era labor organizers to today’s diverse families, González highlights their resilience and contributions spanning over a century.
