Attending is a required step in the Org Renewal process. Your organization must identify at least one officer to attend this in-person event for the entire required portion (4:00-7:00pm). The event includes organization support info tables, workshops, and opportunities to meet with your organization liaison.
Tip: Student feedback on this program indicated that participating has significantly improved their effectiveness as an officer. The best practice is to identify at least two officers who can attend. We recommend that every officer utilizes this resource to make your year easier and your organizational leadership experience better. Having more than one officer attending can also help in case someone has a last-minute change of availability.
Please complete the Student Organization Conference Night RSVP Form. We need to know the name(s) of Student Org Officer(s) attending and which organization(s) they are representing. Please complete this form by noon on Wednesday, September 18. If you submit later, there may be a delay in your organization being renewed. If none of your officers can attend, you will have a chance to provide additional information to help us understand the issue. Note: Filling out this form is the ONLY way to access information about the make-up requirements.
All are welcome! Students who are not required to attend are also welcome! For example, if you are considering starting a student organization, or are aspiring to an officer role within your current org, you can learn lots of valuable info here. You can just show up – no need to fill out the RSVP form.
