Graduate student Jackie Murphy started her internship at the Museum of Wisconsin Art with the Director of Collections, Graeme Reid, last week. Jackie reported, “For my first day, I was tasked with hanging artwork for a private community event that was held in the main exhibition gallery. I learned how to take measurements, account for irregular shapes, and hammer the “correct” way from my friend and fellow intern Anna Kupiecki. The gallery looked wonderful when it was finished and I am thankful to be able to say I played a big part in that!”
