ARTHIST 760 Prints Lithographs

Students in Visiting Assistant Professor Sarah Schaefer’s ARTHIST 760: Modern Print Culture took a break from discussing the history of prints last Monday to experience a demonstration of lithographic printmaking. Cynthia Brinich-Langlois, a faculty member of the Peck School of Arts, showed the class the process of producing lithographs, from prepping the stone to printing the image. Professor Brinich-Langlois supervised while students inked the stone and used the printing press to produce their own prints.
