Students examine pre-Hispanic ceramic vessels from Colombia and Ecuador in ARTHIST 372: Art of the Incas and their Ancestors, taught by associate lecturer David Pacifico. Here students are analyzing the materials, functions, and decorative motifs of these objects from the UWM Art Collection in order to determine their historical and geographical relationship to one another as well as their meanings to the people who made and used them.
