Art Exposé: Christa Story

On Tuesday, October 14,2014, the UWM Art History Gallery hosted the second installment of Art Exposé. Art Exposé is a monthly gallery talk that exhibits a selected object from the UWM Art Collection on the second Tuesday of every month from 1-2 PM. Curator of the UWM Art Collection Christa Story gave a talk on the Warrington Colescott print Dream of the Printseller from 1968. It was a gift of Blanche and Henry Rosenberg in 1974.  The print combines numerous print techniques including: color soft-ground etching, drypoint, and aquatint, with roulette, found letterpress plates, found letterpress photo plate, and relief rolls through stencils.
