Timely Warnings and Campus Safety Alerts

Under the Clery Act, the University issues emergency notifications and timely warnings in certain situations.

Emergency notifications are announcements to the campus community regarding a “significant emergency or dangerous situation involving an immediate threat to the health or safety of students or employees occurring on the campus.” Timely warnings are announcements made to the campus community about Clery Act crimes that occur in Clery-designated locations in the event that the crime may pose a serious or continuing threat to students and employees.
